Antique ship's bell with cast / raised name BARTOLOMEO.

This very large ornately cast ships bell is also decorated with winged cherubs and stars, these symbols were synonymous with early mariners.

The BARTOLOMEO was an Italian Brigantine that was wrecked at Cape Sparte, Tangier on 24th Jan 1874.
